a) \frac{2}{7} × 3 =  \frac{6}{7}                               ( NOTE 3 = \frac{3}{1} )

It is a proper fraction, since numerator < denominator.

b) \frac{9}{7} × 6 = \frac{54}{7}  

It is an improper fraction , since  numerator > denominator.

Divide it and write as mixed fraction. ( See Figure Attached)

Hence  \frac{54}{7}  = 7\frac{5}{7}

c)3 × \frac{1}{8} = \frac{3}{8}

It is a proper fraction, since numerator < denominator.

d)\frac{13}{11} × 6 = \frac{78}{11}

It is an improper fraction , since  numerator > denominator.

Divide it and write as mixed fraction. ( See Figure Attached)

Hence   \frac{78}{11}
