Answer:

A.) the bus is accelerating from 0 to 10 minuets

B.) the bus is decelerating from 10 to 20 minuets

C.) 149.1290 mph

240.0000 kmh

D.) 74.5645 mph

120.0000 kmh

E.) 18km

Explanation:

sam281482: plz explain
dawsonp596: from 0 to 10 minuets the bus is technically increasing its speed up to 40 kmh from 10 to 20 minutes its is decreasing its speed back down to 0 kmh
dawsonp596: after that it was a bunch of calculations
sam281482: ok
sam281482: thanks

Answer:

(a) 0to 10min

(b) 10to 20min

(c) 200km

(d) 200km

(e) 20km/min

Explanation:

the bus has accelerated till 10min after it started.

the bus decelarated after 10min after it started and continued for 10min

so, the portion of acceleration is from 0to10in time axis and 0to 40in speed axis.

distance covered during acceleration = area of graph

= 1/2*10*40

=200 km

the portion of deceleration is from 0to40 in speed axis and 10to 20 in time axis.

didistance covered during decelaration = area of graph

=1/2*40*10

=200km

total average speed =total distance /total time

= 200+200/10+10

=400/20

=20km/min
