Answer:

1. Exterior angle of a equilateral triangle is 120°

2. The sum of angle ROQ and angle ROP is 180° (as it is linear pair angles )

so ,

( 2x + 10 )+ 3x = 180°

5x = 180 - 10

5x = 170

× = 34°

3. QXM = AMX = 135 ( Alternate angles )

so , XMB = 180 - 135 = 45°

yMB = MYR = 40

XMY = YMB + XMB = 40 + 45= 85.

4. I hope you know how to prove !

Well ,

Given that y-30, y - 20 , y - 10 is angles of a triangle . so its sum should be 180

y - 30 + y - 20 + y - 10 = 180

3y -30-20-10 = 180

3y - 60 = 180

3y = 180 - 60

3y = 120

y = 120/3

y = 40
