Solution 19 : Since < BAD = < CAE

Adding < CAD on both sides we get

< BAD + < CAD = < CAE + < CAD

< BAC = < DAE ____(1)

In triangle BAC and DAE

< BAC = < DAE [ From (1) ]

AB = AD ( Given )

AC = AE ( Given )

Hence both triangles are congruent by SAS congruency.

BC = DE ( c.p.c.t )
