Given, sinθ+cosθ=1

Squaring both sides gives,

sin 2 θ+cos 2θ+2sinθcosθ=1

⇒1+2sinθcosθ=1

⇒2sinθcosθ=0

⇒sinθcosθ=0

Now ,

(Sinθ- Cos θ)^2 = sin^2 θ+Cos^2 θ- 2SinθCosθ

(Sinθ- Cos θ)^2= 1 -2SinθCosθ

= 1 -2 ×0 = 1

Sinθ-Cosθ=1
