1. Evaporation method

The evaporation method will isolate the sodium chloride from its solution in water.

◇ During the process, water evaporates leaving behind the sodium chloride in the container.

2.Centrifugation

Butter can be separated from curd by the process of Centrifugation.

◇ The principle behind this process is that the denser particles are forced to the bottom and the lighter particles stay at the top when spun rapidly.

3.Separating funnel

Separating funnel is used to separate the mixture of two immiscible liquids.

◇Kerosene oil and water do not mix with each other and form two separate layers. The mixture separates into two layers according to their densities.
