ATQ:-

X+1/Y=3/4.................(I)

X/Y+2=1/2...........(II)

Now

eqn (I)

becomes 4x-3y=- -4

eqn(ii)

becomes 2x-y=2

So from elimination method we get

Y= -8

X= -7
