Let the age of first or elder cousin is x years ,

So age of other or younger cousin will be ( difference + age of first cousin ) = ( x - 10 ) years

15 years ago, ages of both the cousins must be 15 years lesser than their present age.

Hence,

15 years ago, age of first cousin = ( present age - 15 ) years = ( x - 15 )

15 years ago, age of other cousin = ( present age - 15 ) = ( x - 10 - 15 ) = ( x - 25 ) years.

According to the question :

Age of elder sister = 2 × age of younger sister

Putting the values from above explaination ,

= > x - 15 = 2( x - 25 )

= > x - 15 = 2x - 50

= > 50 - 15 = 2x - x

= > 35 = x

Hence,

Present age of elder cousin = x years = 35 years

Present age of younger cousin = ( x - 10 ) years = ( 35 - 10 ) years = 25 years.
