Explanation:

speed=distance/time

thus for m/s distance should be in meters and time should be in seconds to match the units

therefore speed = 60meter/60 sec = 1m/s   (1 min =60 sec)

for b)

distance should be in km and time in hour

thus , dist = 60/1000 km and time= 1 /60 hour       ( 1km = 1000m )

                                                                                  ( 1hr = 60 min)

hence speed = 3.6km/hr
