the resistances 10 and 7 are in series
therefore
10 ohm +7ohm= 17ohm
similarly 2 ohm + 4 ohm = 6 ohm
17 ohm and 6 ohm and 6 ohm are in parallel
equivalent resistance = 1/17 +1/6 +1/6
= 20/51
therefore
10 ohm +7ohm= 17ohm
similarly 2 ohm + 4 ohm = 6 ohm
17 ohm and 6 ohm and 6 ohm are in parallel
equivalent resistance = 1/17 +1/6 +1/6
