f = -16 cm.
h = 14 cm.
Now, 1/f = 1/v + 1/u
(-1/16) = 1/v + (-1/32)
1/v = -1/16 + 1/32
1/v = -1/32
v = -32cm.
So, the screen should be placed 32 cm away from the mirror at left side.......ans.
Now, Magnification (m) = -v/u
m = -32/32
m = -1
Now, because m = h'/ h
-1 = h'/14
h' = -14 cm.......
So the height of the image is same as the object. The negative sign shows that the image is inverted..........Ans.
