As we know that

y1+y2+y3 are incoming current

where as y4+y5+y6 are outgoing

current so negative

Kirchoff's law

y1+y2+y3-y4-y5-y6=0

y1+y2+y3=y4 +y5 +y6

$14 + x = 6 + y$

$14 - 6 = y - x$

$y - x = 8$
