Answer:

32 - 30 V

33 - 200 eV

Explanation:

32- The potential at x=2m will be 30 V

the electric potential (V) produced by a point charge with a charge of magnitude q , at a point a distance d away from the point charge, is given by the equation:

V = kq/d

unit Charge is at   - 1 m

q = 10nC  at   2 m

d = 2 -(-1) = 3 m

k = 9 * 10⁹ Nm²C⁻²

q =  10nC = 10 * 10⁻⁹ C

V = kq/d   =   9 * 10⁹  10 * 10⁻⁹/3

=> V = 30

Potential at x=  2 will be 30 V

33 - ∴ K.E. = qV [∵ EX = V.] Now, q = 2e and V = 100 V. ... ∴ K.E. = 200 eV. Hence, the kinetic energy of the alpha particle is 200 eV.

Ans = 200 eV
