a) Since, the heat is being taken from a source (hot reservoir) to convert a part of it Into mechanical work and the other remaining heat to the sink, this is a proper heat engine and not a refrigerator where, the scenario is almost opposite to this.
b) In a Carnot heat engine, obviously there are four processes that make up the continuous cycle.
The four processes are in following order :
1) Isothermal Compression
2) Adiabatic Compression
3) Isothermal Expansion
4) Adiabatic Expansion.

c) The efficiency of a Carnot Engine
= 1- Temperature of sink/Temperature of Source
= 1-(273+27)/(273+327)
= 1- (300)/600 = 1 - 1/2 = 1/2

So, the efficiency of the given heat engine is 1/2.
