I don’t think the color prejudice problem in our country exists.

There are various reasons behind it. The first reason is our Constitution.

It ensures complete freedom to its citizens irrespective of color, class, religion, etc. If anyone were to discriminate against anyone on the basis of color, that person could be in trouble legally.  

Secondly, the people in our country our predominantly swarthy.

In the south, people predominantly are of dark complexion.

This dark complexion is common. So people don’t discriminate or have prejudices against dark complexion.  

Another very potent reason is the religious reason.

Most of God incarnations such as Shiva, Rama, Krishna, Vishnu, etc. were dark complexioned.

So, dark color is considered auspicious.

So, in conclusion it can be said there is no color prejudice in our country.
