1. x - 2 = 7

  x = 7 + 2

  x = 5

2. 6x = 12

    \frac{6x}{6} = \frac{12}{6}

   x = 2

3.  \frac{t}{5} = 10

   \frac{5t}{5} = 10(5) ---> multiply both sides

    t = 50

4. (-1)^{0} = 1

5. (3)^{-2}

Always follow this exponent rule:

\:a^{-b}=\frac{1}{a^b}

\:(3)^{-2}=\frac{1}{3^2}

\frac{1}{9}

6. \frac{2^5}{2^{-6}} = ?

Always follow this exponent rule:

\quad \frac{x^a}{x^b}=x^{a-b}

\frac{2^5}{2^{-6}}=2^{5-\left(-6\right)}

2^{5-\left(-6\right)}=2^{11}

2^{11} = 2048
