angle 7 and 5 are equal because they are also corresponding angles.
angle 5+angle 6=180
angle 8+angle 7 =180
Because they form a linear pair.
so as angle 6 and 8 are equal, we can write the second statement as:-
angle 6+angle 7=180.

As the lines k and l are parallel to each other and line t is intersecting both of two lines there all corresponding angles are equal
Also angle 7 +angle 8=180
And angle 6=angle 8 (corresponding angles)
Therefore you can put the value of angle 6 instead of angle 8 at angle 7+ angle 8=180
Therefore angle 6+ angle 7=180.
