speed of going market = 5km / h

speed of coming from market = 7.5km / h .

so , the average of these two speed = (speed 1 + speed 2 )/2

= 5+7.5/2

= 12.5/2

= 6.25km / h

and now , coming to average velocity

he goes to market and comes back .

so displacement = 0

velocity = displacement/time

where displacement = 0

so velocity = 0
