 \frac{3x}{4}  -  \frac{7}{4}  = 5x + 12

 =  >  \frac{3x - 7}{4}  = 5x + 12

 =  > 3x - 7 = 4(5x + 12)

 =  > 3x - 7 = 20x + 12

 =  > 20x - 3x =  - 7 - 12

 =  > 17x =  - 19

 =  > x =  \frac{ - 19}{17}
