Adenosine lacks phosphate group.

Adenosine(nucleoside) is unit formed by the attachment of Adenine (nitrogen base) to 1' position of sugar.

When Adenosine is linked to phosphoric acid at 5' position of sugar moiety, we get Adenylic acid (nucleotide)

hence, adenosine lacks phosphate group
