Clearly, by Pythagoras theorem,
AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2
(k+2)^2 + (1)^2 = [(4)^2 + (-3)^2] + [(k-2)^2 + (4)^2]
k^2 + 4 + 4k + 1 = 16 + 16 + 9 + k^2 + 4 - 4k
4k = 40 》k = 10.
