In triangle ABC

By angle sum property

Angle A+ Angle B + Angle C = 180

40 + Angle B + 90 = 180

130 + Angle B = 180

Angle B = 50

Then in triangle EBD

By angle sum property

Angle E + Angle B + Angle D = 180

Put alll the available value

100+50 + angle D = 180

Angle D = 180 - 150

Angle D = 30

Answer:

in ∆ABC,

A+B+C=180(sum angle property)

40+90+B=180

B. =. 50°

In ∆EBD,

E+B+D =180(sum angle property)

100+50+x=180

x. =. 30°
