Answer:

angle X = 55

angle Y = 55

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN:- PS||QR , PQ||SR , SP=RQ , SR= PQ

according to the given conditions PQRS is a parallelogram.

angle TPS = 125° , angle SPQ = y , angle SRQ = x

_________________________________________

TO FIND :- X , Y

_________________________________________

angle TPS + angle SPQ = 180 ( linear pair)

125 + y = 180

y = 55°

then, to find X there are 2 ways

Approach 1 :-

angle y + angle s = 180 ( angle on same side of transversal)

55+ angle s = 180

angle S = 125

so,

angle S + angle R = 180 (angles on same side of transversal)

angle X = 55

Approach 2 :-

Let's take TQ||SR , and SP as transversal

so , angle TPS = angle PSR ( alternate interior angle)

angle PSR= 125

then angle PSR + angle X = 180 (angles on same side of transversal)

angle X = 55
