Let the base angle be 'x', then the vertex angle will be 3x.

We know that isocseles triangle has two sides of equal length.

We know that sum of angles of a triangle add upto 180.

= > x + x + 3x = 180

= > 5x = 180

= > x = 180/5

= > x = 36.

Then,

vertex angle = 3(36) = 108.

Therefore, the base angle is 36 degrees and Vertex angle is 108 degrees.

Hope it helps!

\textit{ \textbf{ Hello Mate! }}

k) In isosceles triangle, base angles are equal. Let's take one of the base angle as "x"

As given, vertex angle is thrice of base angle. Hence, vertex angle = 3x

Sum of all angles of triangle = 180° ( Angle sum property )

x + x + 3x = 180°

5x = 180° => x = 36°

Hence, vertex angle 36° × 3 = 108°

\boxed{ \textsf{ Hence,\:base\:angles\:are\:36°\:each }}
\boxed{ \textsf{ Vertex\:angle\:is\:108° }}
