angle 1 has a corresponding angle which is linear to angle 2
so 2x+36+7x-9=180
thus 9x=180-36+9
9x=153
x=153/9=17
so angle 1=2x+36=2*17+36=34+36=70
so 2x+36+7x-9=180

9x=153
x=153/9=17
