Step-by-step explanation:

Take any two points and solve for slope using (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1). Here, I have taken (1, -1) & (2,6).

Slope = {6-(-1)} / {2-1} = (6+1)/1 = 7

Therefore, equation of the line formed by these lines is:

=> y - y1 = m(x - x1)

=> y - (-1) = 7(x - 1)

=> 7x - y = 8

Now, check whether (0,-8) lies on this line or not. For this, 7x - y = 8 must remain same for x=0 & y=-8.

=> 7(0) - (-8) = 0 + 8 = 8

Since RHS=LHS, (0, -8) lies on 7x - y = 8.

Hence, (1,-1), (2,6) and (0,-8) lie on the graph of linear equation 7x - y = 8
