A material which is not easily decomposed by natural process such as action of bacteria is called non biodegradable. Plastics, aluminum, tin cans and other metal items are called as non biodegradable materials or waste. They are not eco friendly.
They harm ecosystem by mixing with soil , the toxin's contaminate soil and enter food chain when eaten accidentally by animals like cow.
2 Polythene bags are very dangerous , they lead to land pollution and may cause death of cattle.
3. If plastic materials are discarded into water bodies may cause death of aquatic animals .
4.if not disposed properly, it may lead to clogging of drainage system in cities
5.Burning of plastic may lead to harmful gases which causes air pollution which in turn effect the life of people.
Hence to avoid all these types of pollution I, e air , water and land pollution its essential nowadays to recycle non biodegrable waste.
So follow 4R' Principle Reduce, Recuse, Recycle and Recover.
