=1/2×10×10
=5×10
=50cm²

area of LRS=MQR

area of LRS=1/2×b×h
=1/2×10×20
=5×20
=100cm²

therefore area of MQR is also 100cm²

area of pqrs=side²
=20×20
=400cm²

area of the shaded region=400-(50-100+100)
=400-250
=150cm²
