Given :

mass = 120 kg

density = 600 kg / m³

density = mass / volume

==> Volume = mass / density

                    = 120 kg / 600 kg / m³

                    = 1 / 5 m³

                    = 0.2 m³

Let additional mass be added be m

So :

mass m = mass of the displaced water - mass of the body .

Volume of displaced water = 0.2 m³

mass = 0.2 m³ × 1000 kg/m³ [ volume × density ]

            = 200 kg

Now mass of the body is 120 kg

So :

m = 200 kg - 120 kg

   = 80 kg

The additional mass will be 80 kg

Hope it helps !
