Amplitude- The maximum displacement of the particles of medium on either side of its mean position, is called the amplitude.

Frequency- The number of vibrations produced by a particle of medium in one second is called the frequency.

Time Period- The time taken by a particle of medium to complete its one vibration is called the time period.
