Given Equation :-

2x - 2/x = 3

=> (2x² - 2)/x = 3

=> 2x² - 2 = 3x

=> 2x² - 3x - 2 = 0

Now it is in the form of " ax² + bx + c "

So , now we can factorize it

2x² - 3x -2 = 0

=> 2x² - 4x + x - 2 = 0

=> 2x(x - 2) + 1(x - 2) = 0

=> (2x + 1)(x - 2) = 0

Here ,

2x + 1 = 0

So , x = -1/2

also

x - 2 = 0

So , x = 2

So , the roots are -1/2 and 2

Hope it helped you...
