3x - 1 \div 3 = 2(x - 1 \div 2) + 5 \\ 3x \div 1 - 1 \div 3 = 2x \div 1 - 2 \div 2 + 5 \\ 9x - 3 \div 3 = 4x - 2 \div 2 + 5 \\ 9x - 3 \times 2 = 4x - 2 \times 3 + 5 \\ 9x - 6 = 4x - 6 + 5 \\ 9x - 6 = 4x - 1 \\ 9x - 4x = - 1 + 6 \\ 5x = 5 \\ x = 5 \div 5 \\ x = 1
