Answer:

\huge{\fbox{\fbox{\bigstar{\mathfrak{\red{Answer}}}}}}

Explanation:

let 1st force be "x"...

let 2nd force be "y"..

its maximum value:-

x + y = 10 \: newton

_______________________________

ITS MINIMUM VALUE:-

x - y = 4 \: newton.

_______________________________

NOW ADD BOTH EQUATION:-

x + y + x - y = 10 + 4

2x = 14

x = 7

_______________________________

NOW PUT THE VALUE OF X IN 2ND EQUATION:-

x - y = 4

7 - y = 4

y = 3

\huge{\bold{ Solution:-}}

Let the magnitude of two forces be F1 and F2.

According to question:-

F1 + F2 = 10 •••••••••••(1)

F1 - F2 = 4 •••••••••••••(2)

Subtracting equ. (1) and (2)

F1 + F2 - ( F1 - F2) = 10 - 4

F1 + F2 - F1 + F2 = 6

2F2 = 6

F2 = 3

putting F2 = 3 in equ. (1)

F1 + F2 = 10

F1 + 3 = 10

F1 = 10 - 3

F1 = 7

We see that F1 has largest resultant force .

Therefore,

The magnitude of large force is 7N.

Hope its helpful ❤
