Number of boys=60/100x6000=3600
Number of girls=6000-3600=2400
no of girls failed =2400x14/100=336
no of boys failed=3600x12/100=432
total number of students failed =336+432=768
6000-768=5232
therefore number of successfull students=5232
percentage of successfull students=5232/6000x100=87.2
