DESCRIPTION

A cube is a Geometrical figure in three dimensions.

It has six sides, eight vertices and 12 edges

FORMULA TO BE IMPLEMENTED

1.

If the side of a cube is x unit

Then volume of the cube

 =  {x}^{3}  \:  \:  \: cubic \:  \: unit

2.

 {(x + y)}^{3}  =  {x}^{3}  +  {y}^{3}  + 3 {x}^{2} y + 3x {y}^{2}

EVALUATION

Let a be the side length of the cube

Then

 {a}^{3}  = 27 {x}^{3}  + 8 {y}^{3}  + 54 {x}^{2} y + 36x {y}^{2}

 \implies \:  {a}^{3}  = (3 {x})^{3}  +( 2 {y})^{3}  + 3 \times (3 {x}^{2}  )\times  2 y + 3 \times 3x  \times  {(2y)}^{2}

 \implies \:  {a}^{3}  =  {(3x + 2y)}^{3}

 \therefore \: a \:  = 3x + 2y

  \red{\fbox {Hence the side length of the cube = 3x+ 2y }}
