Given that the diameter of a hemispherical tank d = 14m.

Then the radius of the hemispherical tank r = d/2 = 14/2 = 7m

We know that Capacity of the tank = 2/3pir^3

                                                           = 2/3 * 22/7 * (7)^3

                                                           = 2/3 * 22 * 7 * 7

                                                           = 718.67 m^3

                                                           = 718.67 kilolitres.

Given that the tank already contains 250 kilolitres of water.

Therefore the volume of water pumped into tank = 718.67 - 250

                                                                                    = 468.67 kilolitres.

Hope this helps!
