Hello there ,
(1) the vegetables under the influence of the atmosphere may loose it's natural hydration nd would droop eventually.
To prevent that the shop keeper sprays water on the vegetables.the vegetables aborb the water through osmosis nd gets rehydrated.
(2)osmosis refers to the process by which equilibrium of concentration takes place.the water goes from lower concentration of sugar (outside) to higher concentration of sugar(inside) .
(3) if u r in a bath tub or pool for a prelonged time ur fingers may look pruned.
Absorption of water by rooted from the soil through osmosis.
