Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal therefore

AB=DC

Area of ABCD= b* h

Case 1

CF is height and AD is the base

Therefore area of abcd= AD*CF. ...........(1)

Case 2

AE is the height and DC is the base

Therefore area of abcd= DC*AE. ...........(2)

Both (2) and (1) will be equal

AD*CF=DC*AE

AD*10=16*8. Ad=AB

AD=128/10=12.8 cm
