Answer:

Assuming x=1 is the zero of given equation (although putting x's value as1 we obtain the whole equation equal to zero)

so x-1is a factor of the given equation, on dividing we will get other 2 factors also .x^3-2x^2-x+2/x-1=x^2-x-2 ,by middle term split we get x-2 and x+1 as factor. so the factors of given equation are x-1,x-2 x+1

answer ¡¡

___________

x^3-3x^2-9x-5

putting x's value -1 we got the one factor of the polynomial and on dividing it with the equation we will get other zeroes also.

x^3-3x^2-9x-5 ÷x+1=x^2-4x-5

by middle term split we get x-5 and x+1 .x+1,x+1 andx-5 are the factors of the given equation.

answer ¡¡¡

__________

x^3+13x^2+32x+20

x+1 is a factor (putting x=-1 we get to know that it is a zero of the given equation) after dividing we get x^2+12x+20 as quotient, by middle term split we get x+2 and x+10 are the factors of the given equation .

answer 4

_______

2y^3+y^2-2y-1

y-1 is a factor (☆explained in above answers)

on dividing we get 2y^2+3y+1 and after middle term split we got the factors that are 2y+1, y+1 ,y-1
