Answer :-

  • Altitude of Rhombus = 8.5 cm.

Explanation :-

Given :

  • Area of Rhombus = 119 sq. cm.
  • Perimeter of Rhombus = 56 cm.

To Find :

  • Altitude of Rhombus.

Solution :

Firstly, Let's Calculate Side of Rhombus.

We know that,

Perimeter of Rhombus = 4 × side.

So, Put the Values.

⇒ 4 × side = 56 cm.

⇒ side = 56 ÷ 4.

⇒ side = 14 cm.

And, We know that,

Area of Rhombus = Base × Altitude.

So, Put the Values.

⇒ 14 × Altitude = 119 sq.cm.

⇒ Altitude = 119 ÷ 14.

Altitude = 8.5 cm.

Therefore, Altitude of Rhombus = 8.5 cm.
