let three terms in A.P be

(x + y) and x and(x - y)

sum is 6

therefore

x + y + x + x - y = 6 \\ 3x = 6 \\ x = 2

now product is -90

therefore

(x - y)(x)(x + y) = - 90

now put the value of x=2

(2 - y)(2)(2 + y) = - 90

now solve the equation and get the value of y

Let the consecutive terms be x ,x+1, x+2

x+x+1+x+2=6

3x+3=6

3x=6-3

x=3÷3

x=1

consecutive terms are 1,2,3
hope it helps

sammy2003: you didn't find product
umanshi333: its optional we only need to find the consecutive numbers and by using either the product or sum
