Given :

▪ Weight of acetic acid = 60g

To Find :

▪ No. of carbon atoms in given weight of compound.

Concept :

☞ First we have to find out moles of acetic acid after that we can calculate no. of carbon atoms present in compound.

☞ Formula of no. of moles in terms of weight of compound and molecular weight of compound is given by

\boxed{\bf{\pink{mole=\dfrac{weight}{molecular\:weight}}}}

▪ Molecular weight of acetic acid = 60

Calculation :

\implies\bf\:n=\dfrac{w}{M_w}\\ \\ \implies\sf\:n=\dfrac{60}{60}\\ \\ \implies\sf\:moles\:of\:CH_3COOH=1\\ \\ \implies\sf\:moles\:of\:carbon=2\times 1 = 2\\ \\ \implies\sf\:no\:of\:C\:atoms=moles\times\:N_A\\ \\ \implies\sf\:n_{atoms}=2\times 6.022\times 10^{23}\\ \\ \implies\boxed{\bf{\purple{n_{atoms}=12.044\times 10^{23}}}}

▶ Option C is correct
