Let one of the nos be x.

so the 2nd no will be (x-26)

so acc to the given,

x= 3(x-26)

x = 3x - 78

3x-x= 78

x= 39

:. the nos are
x=39 ..... and
x-26= 39-26
= 13

Heya!!
Here's your answer.

According to the question,
We have the difference between two numbers=26.
Also, one number is three times of the other.
So, let the first number be x and the other be 3x.
Therefore,
=>3x-x = 26
=>2x = 26
=>x = 26/2
=>x = 13.

Hence, the first number is x which will be 13 and the other number is 3x which will be 3×13=39.

Hope so that it did helped you and please mark it as brainiest, thank you!!
