Ground water is major source of water and that's why ground water is declining day by day. It has resulted in the alarming depletion of water level & drastic deterioration in ground water quality. In Gandhinagar average rainfall is below normal rainfall. This research paper describes a collaborative & development of affordable technologies for capturing & retaining runoff including that from roof tops and roads using this as a valuable sources of water and artificially recharge the percolation well and ultimately increase the ground water level. This can be helpful as a valuable water source in future.
