Let your present age be x.

Given that After 12 years you will be 2 times 3 years ago.

x + 12 = 2(x - 3)

x + 12 = 2x - 6

x = 2x - 18

x - 2x = -18

x = 18.

Therefore your age is 18.(Eligible to vote)
