Omnamhashivay: just it helps in calculating image and object distances from it like in question 50-26=24 we get for solving
snehavinod34: so, wht all things are given in the ques?
snehavinod34: they haven't given the object and image distance??
Omnamhashivay: assume the things are kept on co-ordinate graph then u will get
snehavinod34: ohkay
Omnamhashivay: mark as brianlist ansrr
Omnamhashivay: please
Omnamhashivay: mine iii is wrong it will be infinity
Omnamhashivay: by mistake i wrote 18 instead of 12
Omnamhashivay: writing 12 we get v=infinity

Given,
Position of candle = 26 cm
Position of Convex lens = 50 cm
Position of screen = 74 cm
So,
(I) Object distance,
u = 50 - 26
= 24 cm
Image distance,
v = 74 - 50
= 24 cm
So, the image distance from lens is same to object distance.
Therefore,
Centre of curvature, c = 24 cm
Focal length,
f = 24/2
= 12 cm
(II) New position of candle = 38 cm
So,
Object distanc,
u = 50 - 38
= 12 cm
Focal length, f = 12 cm
Therefore, Object is at f.
Hence, image if formed at infinity.
(III) For ray diagram plz refer to the attachment.

Hope it may help you!!!!
All the best for tomorrow's exam!!!!!
Plz mark as brainlest!!!!!
