Property used; tangent drawn to a circle from same point are of same length.

AP = DP

CQ = DQ

CR = BR

AS = BS

Adding all the above equations we get,

AP+CQ+CR+AS = DP+DQ+BR+BS

(AP+AS)+(CQ+CR) = (DP+DQ)+(BR+BS)

SP+QR = QP+SR

Hence, proved.

let OA , OB , OC , OD be the radius of the circle.

and also OA = OB = OC = OD

Step-by-step explanation:

QR= QC + CR

also QC = OD

CR = OB

QR = OD + OB

similarly for the other sides,

since the radius are equal and sum of the sides is equal to 2R

therefore QR + SP = QP + SR
