Two lamps one rated 220 volt 50 Watt ,and the other rated 220 volt 100 watt ,are connected in series with mainly of voltage of 220 volt. explain why does the 50 Watt lamp consume more power?

BECAUSE THE 50 WATT LAMP IS CONNECTED IN SERIES CONNECTION WHICH GETS DIRECT ELECTRICITY.....AND IN ELECTRICITY INCREASE IN VOLTAGE CONSUMES MORE POWER....

In an electrical system increasing either the current or voltage will result in higher power
