Given :---

• BP = 16cm.
• CP = 18cm .
• DC 14cm.

To Find :--

• AB
• PT

Concept used :---

• PT² = PC * PD (Secant Theoram)
• PB*PA = PC * PD . (Tangent Theoram).

Solution :---

Let length of AB = x ,

Than , PA = (16+x)

PD = 18 + 14 = 32 cm.

Putting values in above formula we get,

→ 16*(16+x) = 18*32

→ 16+x = 36

→ x = 36-16 = 20 cm.

Hence, length of AB will be 20cm..

Putting values again , in Second Formula we get,,

→ PT² = 18*32

→ PT² = 576

→ PT² = 24*24

→ PT = √(24*24)

→ PT = 24cm..

Hence, length of PT will be 24cm...
