Hey,

In the second step,

Alpha^2 + beta^2 is obtained . The next step, u have squared the product of zeroes ,i.e. 1/6 into 1/36.

This is your mistake .⬆

Alpha ^2 + beta ^2 = (Alpha+beta)^2 -2x Alpha x beta
Take it in this way and substitute the value of sum and product of zeroes.
